✓ When something doesn’t happen according to our expectations, and when we
have weaker acceptance towards all that is happening around us, that creates
stress. It is equal to fighting against nature because we carry our assumptions
and expectations in life, considering them to be authentic.
✓ ‘True knowing is to know that you know nothing,’ – Socrates.
✓ Stress is both positive and negative. When a change is needed, it creates
stress. And our senses can’t see reality, but when we accept what has been
done and work towards the role we have to play, the stress can be reduced.
✓ Those whose faith is deep and who have practiced controlling their mind and
senses attain divine knowledge. Through such transcendental knowledge, they
can attain everlasting supreme peace.
✓ Stress is the by-product of our perception which is dented, limited, and not
authentic.
✓ Self-management is the only mantra that we have to learn. Deep breathing
and silence have to be practiced for self-introspection. This way we can get
less affected by the happenings outside. This is a life-long process.
✓ One has to focus on one’s own disturbances and confusions, and have control
over the thought process about why others are doing the way they are doing
because it is their perception, their understanding, and their nature.
✓ Vairagya is not to leave everything it is about not holding onto something.
One should enjoy the process of doing, put maximum effort, practice
mindfulness and not think about the results and repercussions. What has to
happen will happen and what cannot happen will never happen, it doesn’t
rest in our hands.
