through effective parenting contribute to the development and well-being of a society.

There are moments in life when we feel lost. Even though we think we have found ourselves and some kind of reason or purpose for being, the question still remains "Who am I?"

Is life a journey meant to help us find our true selves or is it us creating ourselves in little moments, experiences and accomplishments?

When we come to think of it, the juxtaposition of the two is truly perplexing but at the same time deep and meaningful.

Conflicts enable us to comprehend the loopholes in sensing the power of individuality. Challenges are real-world opportunities to examine our potential and completely reframe the picture of our lives. But then comes the ultimate confusion - Does Challenge bring Conflict or does Conflict bring Challenge?

This December month's issue of our Hustle Wisely attempts at answering this pertinent question that has pondered all of our minds.

Often in life, we say that we value this and we value that, this means a lot to me, and that something or someone is irreplaceable. Howsoever, the question is do we really value the things we value?

Are we rightly prioritizing what is required or are we going along with carpe diem?

The Hustle Wisely magazine's November issue addresses the topic of valuing the right things and making room for those that truly matter to us.

In this issue, we discuss values as they relate to people, things, and belief systems.

Each success story comes with its own share of struggles, and barriers that one breaks through. From the point where one is stuck in a cocoon, to finding that liberation through freedom of expression. People have their stories where they define their own means to express through words, gestures, choices or actions. Freedom of expression connects us with ourselves at a much deeper level, which leads to inner transformation

In this edition, inspiration comes from the mentors who put across their transformation journey or the journey of a transformation that they facilitated, through freedom of expression and empowering lives.

Assertive Communication - The courage to communicate honestly

We all would have come across situations wherein we are tonguetied and cannot deny because of several obligations. Day to day we would have also heard statements like

“ No thank you, I am not interested”

"I completely understand what you’re saying but I have to disagree”

“ I understand that you have a need to talk and I need to finish what I'm doing. So what about meeting in half an hour?"

and wondered how one can get his/her point across in a clear but non-aggressive way?

In this edition, let us get inspired by Draupadi and explore the art of communicating Assertively. Understand its advantages and learn how to practice and implement it in our day-to-day life.

The 3 ‘E’s: Encourage, Educate, Explore

BEAT THE ODDS
"EDUCATION SHOULD NEVER BE AN IMPOSITION OF FACTS BUT ENCOURAGE THE EXPLORATION OF SELF

Do we encourage our kids to explore the areas they are interested in?
Aren’t we getting carried away by the pre-defined system of learning and educating?
Aren’t we inducing fear in the young minds that exploration is unsafe and is not successful?
We tend to fall into the same pattern again and again passing on the baton to future generations.  We forget that education is meant for liberation. It is a process of evolution to attain enlightenment, identifying oneself through values, beliefs and morals. We as parents and caregivers should be able to guide and mentor them to propel their dreams.
